Creative Pie is a creative-services business based in Lagos, Nigeria. This notice covers this portfolio website and enquiries you send us. External services have their own privacy notices.
Your brief stays with you
The enquiry form prepares a message on your device. It asks for a name or company and a short brief; email and service selection are optional. It does not send the form to a server, save it in a database or add you to a mailing list.
“Review your message” displays the draft on the page. “Copy message” copies it to your device clipboard. You choose whether to open Instagram, paste it and send it. Unsent drafts remain in page memory only; clipboard history follows your browser or device settings. Please leave out passwords, card details, identity documents, sensitive information and other people’s personal details.
When you contact us
We use your message and reply details to respond, prepare a proposal and deliver agreed work. This processing is for steps towards a contract at your request or performance of a contract. Legally required records are processed to meet legal obligations; necessary security and misuse prevention may rely on legitimate interests, taking your rights into account.
We do not sell enquiry information. Any project collaborators receive only information needed for the agreed work and should handle it confidentially. Any legally required disclosure must have an applicable basis. Marketing subscriptions, if introduced, will have a separate, optional choice.
Other services and overseas processing
Depending on the address visited, hosting is provided through Vercel or OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare. Instagram/Meta processes visits and messages when you choose to open its external link; its own privacy and cookie choices then apply.
These providers may process information outside Nigeria. Their notices explain their processing. Creative Pie remains responsible for applicable requirements for processing and transfers it arranges; visiting the site or clicking a link is not itself consent to an international transfer.
How long we keep information
Our policy is to delete personal information from an enquiry that does not lead to a contract within six months, unless retention is justified for a legal claim. Project and transaction records are kept only for the work and applicable legal, accounting or dispute requirements, then deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
Instagram messages and hosting logs also follow provider retention arrangements. Deleting our working records does not remove copies independently retained by a platform.
Your rights and questions
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing, without affecting earlier lawful processing. This enquiry flow does not make automated decisions about you.
Contact us below to make a request. We may ask for proportionate verification, but please do not send identity documents unless specifically needed and requested through an appropriate channel. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
We will update this notice when our processing changes. Updating it does not replace any consent required for new tracking or marketing.
